FIA GT Motosport Sponsorship

We’re in a business that is about being fast and powerful, so when the opportunity came up to enter a sponsorship deal with a fast, powerful motorsport company it proved irresistible!

APC Solutions is proud to announce its sponsorship of Gigawave Motorsport, the new name in the FIA GT Pit Lane.  APC’s logo will grace the silver Aston Martin DBR9, which Gigawave has already used during the 2006 season to test their new digital on-board camera systems under race conditions. 

The car will begin its season in March 2008 at Silverstone and end in October at Zolder, hopefully competing in all ten rounds of the FIA GT Championship.  Gigawave’s on-board cameras will allow us to stream live race coverage, news reports, interviews and telemetry data, so watch this space!

Driving the DBR9 will be Luke Hines, a ‘young gun’ from the karting world who achieved no less than 16 podiums in 2006 and looks set to follow in the footsteps of such greats as David Coulthard and Lewis Hamilton.  His co-driver will be the highly accomplished GT racing driver, Philipp Peter.
