Business Development Manager Job Description
 
APC are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team to help develop and manage our growing sales cycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and development of new business sales and will be expected to report to the team leader on a weekly basis.
 
 
The position will be based from our Kelvedon offices in Essex. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08.30hrs to 17.30hrs, but due to the geographic coverage of this position the individual will be required to travel around the UK and maybe expected to stay away from home.
 
A full UK clean driving licence is a requirement due to the nature of this position.
 
 
Salary is negotiable depending on experience, but will be constructed of a basic salary plus commission with OTE of approximately £65k per annum; higher remuneration can be achieved for over performance, uncapped. Holiday entitlement will start at 20days per annum plus all national & bank holidays, with a yearly holiday reward scheme for service.
 
 
A car allowance and any travelling expenses will be paid for any business related activities.

Wireless Communications Engineer Job Description
 
 
We are looking for dynamic, motivated individuals to join our team based in Essex.  You should have a good understanding of both indoor (WLAN) and outdoor wireless data networks (PTP /PTMP) along with the capability to install CAT5/6 cabling.  We are looking for multi-skilled individuals who can install indoor and outdoor wireless hardware (working at height is essential) as well as diagnose faults and configure wireless hardware.  You will have a good customer service ethic and be able to communicate with both IT managers and non IT literate customers, you will be able to work both on your own using your own initiative and as part of a team.

Skill requirements:
 
·         Wireless network fault finding and repair (outdoor and indoor).
 
·         Installation of outdoor PTP and indoor WLAN networks.
 
·         Working at height and IPAFcertification (preferred)
 
·         Advanced climbing and rigging (preferred but not essential)
 
·         Structured CAT5 and CAT6 cabling knowledge and experience
 
·         An excellent customer service telephone manner and face to face communication.
 
·         Knowledge of computer networks, TCP/IP both wired and wireless.
 
·         Full clean driving license.
 
 
Your primary responsibilities will include installation/fault finding and surveying indoor and outdoor wireless networks, the highest level of customer service is demanded by APC,  troubleshooting networks using our in house tools will also be part of this role, out of hours and weekend work by rotation will be necessary as part of this role.
 
After successful completion of the probationary period (or sometimes during) we provide a Van for business use only which you will be expected to look after and which you can take home, a laptop and smartphone is also provided.
