Essex Ford Group

APC Solutions was delighted to win the contract to provide a number of Motorola PTP wireless links between Ford dealerships spread across the Essex Ford Group.  APC worked closely with Mark Riley, Financial Director, and Colin Roberts, IT Manager, to design, site survey and deploy 11 Motorola PTP links between the car dealerships, plus an additional link from the Dunton Technical Centre (Ford’s European Design Centre) to Telehouse in Docklands.  This link provided a high speed gateway into Telehouse for the Ford’s newly advanced telephone system and gave them growth potential to cater for a high speed internet gateway.  APC continues to develop and maintain the wireless infrastructure of the Essex Ford Group and since the first involvement back in 2006, Essex Ford have recommended APC to a number of their suppliers and clients.
