Roalco
Roalco is a property maintenance and building services business that provides professional services to social landlords and their customers throughout the UK. The company carries out repair works, refurbishment projects, emergency response and planned development. Roalco works in partnership with social landlords to meet targets set for them by the Housing Corporation; these aim to guarantee a decent standard of living for those occupying tenanted and affordable homes.
The company has offices in Cambridge, Ardleigh near Colchester, North Colchester and South Wales. APC has provided support to the company for more than six years and today looks after the entire IT infrastructure across all offices, including a wireless Motorola link that was installed by APC Solutions to give Roalco cost effective and secure data transfer between two remote sites. This wireless link provides data and voice communications within a robust and reliable environment, eliminating the need for expensive leased lines.
Roalco is an owner managed business, headed up by Managing Director, Alan Potter. With more than 50 PC users the company requires support that is flexible enough to meet their needs, responsive and effective. APC has been able to minimise user downtime on office systems, provide training where required and resolve problems at an early stage before they impact the business operation.
