Syncreon
Syncreon is a newly formed company resulting from the merger of Walsh Western International with TDS Logistics. The business provides specialist integrated logistics to industries around the world and delivers intelligent logistics solutions to support material flow requirements. Services include supply chain management, project management, packaging, transportation, container management, distribution and fulfilment.
APC has supported Walsh Western for many years. The business holds the contract as shipping agents for Dell and Apple computers. Walsh Western has sites in Coventry, Daventry and Silvertown; of these the most recently acquired has increased the company’s storage space by some 390,000 square feet.
Connectivity between the company’s sites was originally via links located in separate buildings. APC was able to offer a re-design that replaced these with one link, offering a more stable and far less costly means of communication for voice and data traffic. The company’s site in the Netherlands was also provided with a link by using the decommissioned kit not required in the UK, offering yet another cost saving for Walsh Western.
In a business concerned with logistics, fast reliable communication is pivotal to success. The point to point links supplied and installed by APC Solutions have given Walsh Western the best of all options – remote connectivity, simple and straightforward installation that doesn’t disrupt business processes, close on 100% reliability, cost effectiveness, plus high bandwidth.
